This small deck girder bridge crosses Cascade Creek in Rochester.
Built in 1917 to replace an older trestle, this bridge features a pair of deck girder spans. These girders are built in a four-beam arrangement, to allow for more load capacity. The entire bridge rests on concrete substructures.
When built, the C&NW picked Chicago Bridge & Iron Works as the contractor. It appears that they were contracted with the C&NW for two years-1916 and 1917.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair condition. While the superstructure is in good condition, the substructure is in poor condition with severe deterioration.

The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
